Publish or Perish

"Publish or perish" is the motto among university professors, who must continually prove their worth by generating new works of scholarship.

On the Internet we're more likely to call this "creating content," but the moral is the same. If you don't continually add new information to your site it soon becomes stale and sinks in search engine ranking.

Don't Do It!

Don't even think of starting a business without seriously thinking through your website and what it can do for you. You might as well try to start up without a phone, fax, stationary, logo or business cards, because your site will serve all those functions and more.
